WHAT IS LED LIGHTING?

HOW DO LED LIGHTS DIFFER FROM TRADITIONAL INCANDESCENT BULBS?

 

LEDs, sized like minuscule grains, possess the unique ability to project light in a diverse array of colours through the combination of red, green, and blue LEDs. Unlike traditional lighting counterparts, LEDs direct their light with precision, eliminating the need for light-trapping devices such as reflectors and diffusers. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WATTS AND LUMENS IN LED LIGHTING?

 

Lumens quantify the total brightness emitted by a light source, encapsulating the overall light output, while wattage simply denotes the energy consumption. Thanks to ongoing strides in energy efficiency, the same lumen output can now be achieved with progressively lower wattages, especially evident in the shift from traditional bulbs to LED lighting.
