When it comes to illuminating large areas such as warehouses or retail spaces, high-bay and low-bay lighting are the primary options. The choice between them depends on the height of the ceiling in the space that requires illumination.
For ceilings higher than 6 metres, high-bay lighting is suitable. This type of lighting employs a deep reflector to direct the light downward from the elevated ceiling. Additionally, high-bay fixtures are designed to produce diffused light, effectively reducing glare.
On the other hand, for ceilings lower than 6 metres, low-bay lighting is the appropriate choice. This type of lighting involves a shallower reflector accompanied by a lens that disperses the light outward from the lower ceiling.
