ARE SMART LED DOWNLIGHTS EASY TO INSTALL? CAN I REPLACE MY EXISTING DOWNLIGHTS WITH THEM?

 

The straightforward answer is yes, you can easily replace your old downlight with a new one without any additional wiring. It's a seamless process that doesn't require any changes from what you would normally do for a regular downlight replacement. You can simply remove the old downlight and install the new one in its place, without the need for extra wiring. However, there is one exception to this rule. If the existing downlight is hardwired, meaning it is connected using electrical connectors, it is advisable to have an electrician handle the reconnection. On the other hand, if the existing downlight is connected to a surface socket in the ceiling, you can effortlessly unplug the old downlight or powerpoint socket and replace it with the new one.
