ENTRI – Translational Research Institute (TRI) | Woolloongabba, QLD

JD Lighting is proud to have delivered a customised commercial lighting solution for ENTRI at the Translational Research Institute (TRI) in Woolloongabba. ENTRI is a world-class innovation and translational research centre, bringing together researchers, clinicians, industry partners, and entrepreneurs to help accelerate the development of new healthcare solutions. This project required lighting that supported high-performance laboratory environments while complementing the building’s clean, contemporary architectural design. A key feature of the project is the custom curved LED strip lighting throughout the atrium, designed to highlight the building’s architectural forms and add warmth, depth, and visual flow to the space. Across the atrium, collaboration areas, workspaces, and laboratories, a mix of feature pendants, linear task lighting, laboratory lighting, and practical general illumination was carefully selected to enhance visibility, comfort, and functionality.
