What is an LED driver?An LED driver converts mains electricity into a stable low-voltage DC power required by compatible lighting products. A driver is needed whenever a product requires an external DC power supply; usually location in areas with full weather exposure. Common low-voltage products include spike lights, bollards, LED strip lighting and low-voltage wall lights. Always check the individual product specifications, as not every product within these categories requires an external driver. The driver’s output voltage must match the product’s required voltage (eg. 12V DC), and its wattage must be sufficient for the total connected load. The calculator below recommends a suitable 12V or 24V driver and includes the required safety margin. The Horizon Duo 3 in 1 Bathroom Mate by Brilliant is a powerful and efficient exhaust fan and heater combination to suit small to medium sized bathrooms. This product features 2 x 275W heat globes and a Tri Colour 9W LED light that is switchable between 3000K Warm White, 4200K Cool White & 6000K Daylight.
The Horizon Duo will keep your bathroom warm during those cold night and bright when the heat globes arent necessary along with an exhaust fan to circulate the air within your bathroom.Â
This unit features a inbuilt thermostat switch that automatically switches on the exhaust fan if internal temperature exceeds 80°C. It includes a wall switch, 1500mm flexible aluminium ducting and exterior grille.
