Description

The FanForce Capri II is a quiet DC ceiling fan designed for modern Australian homes, combining efficient airflow, simple control and a clean three-blade design. Available in 52", 64" and 72" sizes, it is easy to choose the right option for your room, from bedrooms through to large open-plan living areas. This version is supplied without a light kit, which makes it a straightforward choice where the lighting is already in place.

The quiet DC motor offers six speed settings along with a Wind Mode that varies the airflow rather than holding one constant speed. Summer and Winter reverse means the fan remains useful year-round, redistributing warm air through the cooler months instead of creating a draught.

Operate the fan using the included Remote Control, or through the Tuya Wi-Fi app. Motor wattage and airflow both increase with blade span — 42W and 16,500m³/hr at 52", 50W and 21,000m³/hr at 64", and 55W and 24,000m³/hr at 72".

The Capri II is suitable for indoor and outdoor undercover areas where it is not exposed to rain or getting wet, making it suitable for covered patios and alfresco areas as well as indoor rooms. It sits 300mm below the ceiling and suits ceilings pitched up to 11°. No light is included in this version. For the fan and light together, choose the Capri II with LED Light & Remote Control, or add the Capri 24W LED Ceiling Fan Light Kit separately at a later date.
The Remote Control is included and Tuya Wi-Fi app control is built in, so there is nothing further to buy to operate the fan.
The size you choose changes performance as well as appearance. 52" runs a 42W motor to 16,500m³/hr, 64" runs 50W to 21,000m³/hr, and 72" runs 55W to 24,000m³/hr.
The fan drops 300mm from the ceiling as supplied. Where ceiling height is limited, the Ares 52" Low Profile is designed to sit closer to the ceiling.
Maximum ceiling pitch is 11°. A steeper raked ceiling requires the Angled Canopy Kit.
It is suitable for indoor and outdoor undercover areas where it is not exposed to rain or getting wet. There is no IP rating, so it is not suitable for a fully exposed position.
Installation must be completed by a licensed electrician.

52" — bedrooms and standard-sized rooms. A common choice when replacing an existing 48" fan and wanting a little more air movement.
64" — larger bedrooms, mid-sized living areas and family rooms.
72" — open-plan living areas and larger covered outdoor entertaining spaces.
New builds, where the lighting is already designed into the ceiling with downlights or pendants and only air movement is needed.
Upgrading an older AC fan. A DC motor draws less power, runs more quietly, and adds Remote Control and app control.
Anyone who may want to add light later — the Capri 24W LED Ceiling Fan Light Kit fits this fan and can be installed at any point.
Rooms with high ceilings, paired with the Extension Rod for FanForce Ceiling Fans to bring the fan down to an effective height.

Not this version — it is supplied as the fan only. You can add the Capri 24W LED Ceiling Fan Light Kit at any time, or choose the Capri II with LED Light & Remote Control to have it included from the start.

Which Capri II size should I choose?

The 52" suits bedrooms and standard-sized rooms, the 64" larger bedrooms and mid-sized living areas, and the 72" open-plan living and larger covered outdoor spaces. Airflow increases with blade span, from 16,500 up to 24,000m³/hr, so in a larger room the bigger size will generally be more effective than running a smaller fan at a higher speed.

Does the motor and airflow change with blade size?

No — the blades are not made from real timber. This ceiling fan features durable ABS blades that are hydro-dipped with a realistic timber-look finish, giving the appearance of natural wood while offering the benefits of ABS, including being lightweight, hard-wearing, and resistant to warping over time.
