The brief: a beachfront tower that feels considered floor by floor Royale sits directly on the beachfront in Surfers Paradise, and the brief was to match that setting — luxury coastal living delivered through beautifully curated interiors, not just a strong address. Across 38 levels and 104 residences, the lighting needed to feel consistent and considered from the entrance through to the private executive lounge, while quietly doing the work of highlighting the architectural details and premium finishes specified throughout the build. Rather than treating each floor as a separate lighting exercise, the strip lighting was specified and supplied as a single cohesive system, so the tower reads as one considered piece of architecture rather than 38 individually lit levels. One lighting system, tower-wide The same strip lighting language carries from the amenity levels through to every residence — a single consistent glow, colour and finish from level to level, the kind of detail that keeps a 38-storey tower feeling like one cohesive residence rather than a stack of separate fitouts. Feature wall lights across the premium interiors Alongside the strip lighting, JD Lighting supplied all feature wall lights used throughout Royale's interiors. These fixtures were selected to complement the building's curated interior finishes, adding a warm, residential layer of light that sits alongside the architectural strip lighting rather than competing with it. Warmth against premium finishes Feature wall lights were supplied across the residences and shared spaces, adding depth and warmth against the stone, timber and metal finishes specified through Royale's interiors.
