Warranty Policy
All new products sold by JD Lighting are covered by a manufacturer's warranty. This warranty applies to manufacturing faults only and does not cover misuse or incorrect installation.
Warranty periods vary by product. Please refer to the product packaging and manufacturer documentation for specific warranty details.
Warranty Conditions
To ensure your warranty remains valid, the following conditions apply:
Installation must be carried out by a qualified and licensed electrician, except for products specifically labelled as DIY (Do-It-Yourself)
Warranty claims require proof of professional installation, such as an Electrical Safety Certificate
Warranty will be void if a product (excluding DIY items) is installed by anyone other than a licensed electrician
Any repairs, alterations, or modifications made without prior approval from JD Lighting or the manufacturer will void the warranty

Manufacturer warranties do not cover:
Incorrect installation
Normal wear and tear or ageing
Damage caused by misuse
Power surges or electrical faults
Types of Warranty
Warranty claims are handled differently depending on the type of warranty applicable to your product.
Replacement Warranty
If your product is found to be faulty within the replacement warranty period, you are entitled to a replacement item.
Please note:
Replacement warranty does not cover installation costs or return postage
JD Lighting will cover the postage cost to send the replacement item

You must obtain a Return Authorisation (RA) before sending any item back.
Unauthorised returns will not be accepted.
In-Home Warranty
If an installed product is found to be faulty within the in-home warranty period, the manufacturer will arrange for a service agent to:
Inspect and diagnose the fault
Repair or replace the product if required
All costs associated with the repair or replacement of a confirmed faulty product are covered by the manufacturer.
Important:
If the fault is caused by incorrect installation, any service call or repair costs will be payable by the customer at the time of service.
