What is an LED driver?An LED driver converts mains electricity into a stable low-voltage DC power required by compatible lighting products. A driver is needed whenever a product requires an external DC power supply; usually location in areas with full weather exposure. Common low-voltage products include spike lights, bollards, LED strip lighting and low-voltage wall lights. Always check the individual product specifications, as not every product within these categories requires an external driver. The driver’s output voltage must match the product’s required voltage (eg. 12V DC), and its wattage must be sufficient for the total connected load. The calculator below recommends a suitable 12V or 24V driver and includes the required safety margin. This accessory can be used on ceiling fans with 26mm downrods and supports angles up to 45° depending on the model and whether a remote receiver unit is installed. Ceiling fans that use remote receivers will reduce the angle in most ceiling fans. The receiver must be inserted after the ceiling fan is mounted.
IMPORTANT: The sloped ceiling kit replaces the ceiling fanâ„¢s ceiling canopy, hanger bracket and hanger ball. A downrod is not included with the Sloped Ceiling Kit, but is shown in the image for demonstration purposes. This ceiling fan kit is compatible with ThreeSixty AC & DC fans.
