JD Lighting is proud to have delivered a customised commercial lighting solution for Patriots Sports Bar at Springwood Hotel, helping create an energetic, social, and visually engaging space where locals can come together for the game.
This project required a hospitality lighting design that could support the fast-paced atmosphere of a sports bar while enhancing key entertainment areas, including the bar, pool tables, dart zones, seating areas, and large-screen viewing spaces.
Throughout the venue, warm feature lighting was used to create a comfortable and inviting ambience, balancing the bold sports-bar character with a relaxed setting for Friday knock-offs, weekend games, and social gatherings.
A major focus of the project was the use of integrated LED strip lighting across the bar, shelving, joinery, and display areas. These concealed lighting details add depth and definition while highlighting timber finishes, brick textures, bottle displays, and the venue’s architectural features.
In the gaming and entertainment zones, feature pendants, track lighting, and decorative wall lights help define each area while maintaining strong visibility for pool, darts, and casual seating. The lighting was carefully positioned to support both function and atmosphere without distracting from the big screens and sporting action.
The bar area is brought to life with layered lighting, combining LED accents, illuminated signage, and warm task lighting to create a vibrant focal point that draws guests into the space.
From the glowing Patriots signage to the feature lighting above the pool tables and bar, every element was selected to enhance the venue’s electric game-day experience.
Together with practical general lighting throughout the space, the completed commercial sports bar lighting design enhances the atmosphere, improves spatial definition, and supports a memorable hospitality experience for locals, sports fans, and guests.
