Happy Tots Child Care is a welcoming early learning centre in Moorooka, Brisbane, designed to be a safe, engaging and comfortable space for children to play, learn and grow. As a child‑centric facility, thoughtful lighting is essential for both comfort and functionality — helping support playful environments, reading and activity zones, and safe, visually‑balanced spaces for little ones and educators alike.
For this project, JD Lighting supplied tailored lighting solutions chosen to enhance the centre’s interior environment while supporting the practical needs of a childcare setting. The lighting design focused on creating balanced, glare‑controlled illumination throughout learning and play areas to improve visual comfort and safety. By blending ambient lighting with thoughtfully placed task and accent fixtures, the scheme helps define activity zones, support focused tasks like reading and craft activities, and contribute to an overall atmosphere that feels warm and welcoming for families, children and staff.
